Terms of service.
These Terms govern your use of The Marty & Laura Show website, podcast, online store, newsletter, and related services. Please read them carefully — especially the sections about veterinary information, dispute resolution, and limitations of liability.
The short version.

- Always consult your own veterinarian for medical decisions about your pet. We do not establish a vet-client-patient relationship through the podcast.
- Digital products (like the Color Me Pets coloring book) are licensed for personal use only. All sales are final.
- We do not sell your data and we are not responsible for third-party websites we link to.
- Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration in Oregon. You may opt out within 30 days.

11.Veterinary information disclaimer
Information provided through our podcast, website, blog, newsletter, and social media is for general educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease or medical condition in your pet.
If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately. For pet poisoning emergencies, contact ASPCA Animal Poison Control at (888) 426-4435 (fee may apply).
No veterinarian-client-patient relationship
Your use of the Services, including listening to the podcast or reading blog content, does not establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) between you and Dr. Marty Greer or any other veterinarian associated with the Services. A VCPR can only be established through an in-person examination of your pet by a licensed veterinarian.
Jurisdictional limitations on veterinary practice
Dr. Marty Greer is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in specific U.S. states. Information shared on the podcast or through other Services does not constitute the practice of veterinary medicine in any jurisdiction. Veterinary regulations vary by state, province, and country — what is appropriate in one jurisdiction may not be appropriate in yours.
Always consult your veterinarian
Before making any decisions about your pet’s health, nutrition, medications, supplements, breeding, training, or behavior based on information from our Services, you must consult your own licensed veterinarian or other qualified professional who has examined your pet and knows their full medical history.
Information may be outdated
Our podcast catalog includes episodes published over multiple years. Veterinary medicine, recommended practices, and product availability evolve. Information presented in older episodes may no longer reflect current best practices. Always verify current guidance with your veterinarian.
Specific topic disclaimers
Medications & treatments
Discussions of specific medications, dosages, supplements, or treatments are educational only. Do not administer any medication, supplement, or treatment to your pet without first consulting your veterinarian. Dosages and protocols vary by species, breed, weight, age, health condition, and other factors.
Nutrition & diet
Diet recommendations discussed on the podcast are general. Your pet may have allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that make a particular diet unsuitable. Consult your vet before making dietary changes.
Breeding & reproduction
Breeding decisions have significant health, ethical, and legal implications. Information shared about breeding programs, genetic testing, or reproductive health is general. Consult a licensed reproductive veterinarian for guidance specific to your breeding program.
Behavior & training
Behavior advice is general. For aggressive, dangerous, or persistent behavioral issues, consult a certified veterinary behaviorist or qualified professional trainer. We disclaim liability for any injury or damage resulting from following behavior or training advice.
Toxic substances & emergencies
If your pet has ingested a potentially toxic substance, do not delay seeking help to listen to the podcast or research online. Contact your veterinarian or an emergency clinic immediately.
Reliance at your own risk
Any reliance you place on information from the Services is strictly at your own risk. We disclaim all liability for actions or decisions you make based on Content, including without limitation any harm, injury, illness, or death of any pet or other animal.
12.No professional relationship
Use of the Services does not create any professional relationship between you and the Hosts, including but not limited to:
- No veterinarian-client-patient relationship. See Section 11.
- No attorney-client relationship. Dr. Marty Greer holds a JD and may discuss legal topics related to veterinary practice, breeding, or pet ownership. Such discussions are educational only and do not constitute legal advice. They do not create an attorney-client relationship between Dr. Greer and any listener. For legal advice specific to your situation, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
- No fiduciary relationship. We are not your agent, advisor, or fiduciary.
- No medical, behavioral, or training relationship. Information from the Services is not a substitute for in-person professional services.
