Meet Dr. Marty Greer
Dr. Marty Greer and her husband, Dr. Daniel Griffiths, share a love for animals, breeding and showing Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Danish Swedish Farmdogs. Over the years, she has contributed to research with major companies like Pfizer and Hill’s Pet Food, and served on the Veterinary Examining Board for eight years.
In 2010, she earned a law degree from Marquette Law School and became a certified Fear Free professional in 2019. She is active in numerous veterinary organizations and currently serves on the boards of the Society for Veterinary Medical Ethics and the American Veterinary Medical Law Association. She is the owner of Vet Village in Lomira, Wisconsin, and recently joined Revival Animal Health as Director of Veterinary Services. She continues to educate through her books on canine reproduction and puppy care.
Meet Laura
Laura is an AKC Breeder of Merit, AKC judge, and second-generation breeder of German Wirehaired Pointers under the Scotia Kennel banner. In her 25-year professional handling career, she has finished hundreds of dogs, specializing in rare breeds and challenging dogs. She’s earned numerous accolades, including Best in Show, Group wins, and #1 rankings, with over 100 titles earned in show rings, hunt tests, and more.
Dedicated to breeding dual-purpose dogs, her goal is to preserve the versatile, sound-minded gun dog envisioned by the breed’s founders. Laura has served the GWPCA in various leadership roles and is the host of the acclaimed Pure Dog Talk podcast, where she shares her expertise on showing and preserving purebred dogs. She is also the author of multiple books on dog showing and handling.
